How to Manage Your Subscription and Billing

1Mint Club TeamFebruary 8, 20265 min read

Your 1Mint Club subscription determines which features you can access and how many campaigns, users, and integrations you can use. Whether you're on the free Starter plan or the full-featured Scale plan, understanding your billing is important for planning your growth.

This guide covers everything about the Billing tab in Settings: viewing your current plan, understanding what each plan includes, managing your payment method, and upgrading when you're ready for more features.

Before You Start

  • An active 1Mint Club partner account
  • Admin access to your account (only Admins can manage billing)

Access Billing Settings

1

Navigate to the Billing tab

Click "Settings" in your sidebar, then switch to the "Billing" tab. This page shows your current subscription plan, payment method on file, and subscription details including your billing cycle and next payment date.

Understand Your Current Plan

2

Review your subscription details

The Subscription Details section shows which plan you're on (Starter, Growth, or Scale), your billing period (monthly or annual), the next billing date, and the amount. If you're on the Starter plan, you'll see that it's free with limited features.

3

Know what each plan includes

Starter is free and includes basic offer creation, customer management, and limited campaigns. Growth adds loyalty programs, POS integrations, campaign analytics, and more campaign capacity. Scale includes everything in Growth plus multi-user access, priority support, and the highest limits across all features.

Pro Tip

If you're seeing "Feature Locked" messages throughout the dashboard, it means that feature requires a higher plan. The lock message always tells you which plan level is needed.

Manage Your Payment Method

4

View your current payment method

The payment method card shows your current card on file — the last four digits, card brand, and expiration date. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and 1Mint Club never stores your full card details on our servers.

5

Update your payment method

To change your card, click the update option on the payment method card. You'll be guided through a secure form (powered by Stripe) to enter your new card details. The update takes effect immediately, and your next billing cycle will charge the new card.

Pro Tip

Set a calendar reminder to update your payment method before your card expires. An expired card can cause your subscription to lapse, temporarily locking premium features until payment is resolved.

Upgrade Your Plan

6

Evaluate when to upgrade

Consider upgrading when you hit plan limits (campaign count, user count) or when you need premium features like loyalty programs, POS integrations, or campaign analytics. The upgrade takes effect immediately — you gain instant access to all new features.

7

Choose and confirm your new plan

Navigate to the plan selection (available during signup or through plan management). Compare the three tiers side by side — each plan clearly lists its included features and limits. Select your desired plan and confirm. If upgrading from Starter, you'll need to add a payment method. If switching between paid plans, the billing is prorated.

8

Verify your new features

After upgrading, return to the dashboard and check that previously locked features are now accessible. Test key features like the Loyalty tab, POS Integrations, or Campaign Analytics to confirm everything is working as expected.

Pro Tip

Annual billing typically saves 15-20% compared to monthly. If you're committed to using 1Mint Club (and you should be!), switching to annual billing is an easy way to reduce costs.
