How to Connect Your POS System
Connecting your POS system to 1Mint Club is a game-changer. It bridges the gap between your in-store transactions and your digital customer engagement, creating a seamless flow of data that powers automatic loyalty point accrual, richer customer profiles, and more accurate analytics.
1Mint Club integrates with the most popular POS providers: Clover, Square, Toast, Lightspeed, Shopify POS, Revel, and NCR. The connection process uses secure OAuth authentication — you never share your POS credentials with us directly.
Before You Start
- An active 1Mint Club partner account on the Growth or Scale plan
- An active account with a supported POS provider
- Admin access to your POS account (needed for OAuth authorization)
Navigate to Integrations
Open Settings and go to Integrations
From your dashboard, click "Settings" in the sidebar, then switch to the "Integrations" tab. This page shows all available POS integrations and their connection status. If you're on a Starter plan, you'll see a prompt to upgrade — POS integrations require a Growth or Scale plan.
Connect Your POS Provider
Find your POS provider
Scroll through the list of supported POS systems: Clover, Square, Toast, Lightspeed, Shopify POS, Revel, and NCR. Each provider card shows a brief description and a "Connect" button. Find your provider and click "Connect" to begin the OAuth process.
Authorize the connection
Clicking "Connect" redirects you to your POS provider's website for authentication. Log in to your POS account (if not already logged in) and authorize 1Mint Club to access your transaction data. Confirm the connection
After authorizing, you'll be redirected back to 1Mint Club. A success notification confirms the connection is active. If something goes wrong during the OAuth flow, you'll see an error message explaining the issue — common problems include expired POS sessions or insufficient permissions.
Verify and Manage Your Integration
Check connection status
Back on the Integrations page, your connected POS provider now shows a "Connected" status badge. Transaction data typically begins syncing within a few minutes. You can verify by checking the Customers page for new POS-sourced transaction data.
Disconnect if needed
If you need to switch POS providers or disconnect for any reason, click the "Disconnect" button on the connected integration. This removes the OAuth connection and stops data syncing. Your historical data is preserved — only future syncing stops.
If you're switching POS providers, disconnect the old one before connecting the new one. Running two integrations simultaneously can create duplicate transaction records.
What Happens After Connection
Automatic transaction syncing
Once connected, your POS transactions automatically appear in customer profiles under the "Transactions" section. Each transaction record includes the date, amount, items, and payment method. This data enriches your customer profiles and feeds into your analytics.
